The Nintendo Switch Can Run Call of Duty, So Let's Stop Pretending It Can't

For years, gamers have speculated about whether or not the Nintendo Switch could handle the Call of Duty franchise, with many expressing doubts that the console's hardware could keep up with the game's demanding graphics and gameplay. However, recent developments have proven that the Switch is more than capable of running Call of Duty, and it's time to put this debate to rest.

Firstly, it's important to note that the Nintendo Switch has been able to run other graphically intensive games, such as The Witcher 3 and Doom, with little to no issues. These games require a lot of processing power, and the Switch has been able to handle them just fine. So why would Call of Duty be any different?

Secondly, Activision, the publisher of the Call of Duty franchise, has released Call of Duty: Mobile, a free-to-play mobile version of the game that has been incredibly popular. The game has been downloaded over 300 million times worldwide and has generated over $1 billion in revenue. If a mobile version of the game can be successful, then it stands to reason that a console version on the Switch would be just as successful.

Lastly, a recent leak has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This is not the first Call of Duty game to come to the Switch, but it is the first remastered version, which suggests that the Switch is more than capable of handling the game's demanding graphics and gameplay.

It's time to stop doubting the Nintendo Switch's capabilities and start acknowledging that it can handle the Call of Duty franchise. With other graphically intensive games already running on the console and the success of Call of Duty: Mobile, there's no reason to believe that a console version on the Switch would be anything less than a success. So let's put this debate to bed and look forward to playing Call of Duty on the Switch.
