OnePlus’ New Mechanical Keyboard Set to Launch Next Year

Most likely, the OnePlus brand is known to a wide audience primarily for its smartphones. However, the last few years have been a real breakthrough for the company, which has released a number of devices, including smartwatches, headphones, and various technical accessories, and is rumored to be preparing an Android tablet. OnePlus decided not to stop there and release a high-quality keyboard in collaboration with Keychron.

So far, the company has not provided many details regarding its future product. Therefore, neither the name of the keyboard nor the design features are known. However, OnePlus has revealed that it will definitely be a mechanical keyboard and all major details will be announced in early 2023. And information about this keyboard surfaced quite unexpectedly as a result of a user survey from OnePlus, where the manufacturer asked what products should be released in the future.

The new mechanical keyboard will be part of the OnePlus Featuring program, or rather its first product. This offshoot was created by OnePlus in order to present a wide variety of products to customers. The lack of information leaves a lot of room for speculation, as it is not at all clear how the company is going to use the new brand. The choice of consumer markets is also not yet known. For example, OnePlus introduced its monitors only to the Indian market and it is impossible to buy them in the USA.

Last week, OnePlus announced the release of several software updates for its smartphones in order to give a guarantee of uninterrupted operation of devices for 5 years. It is not yet known which devices will be affected by this news, however, this will most likely apply to the flagship OnePlus 11.
