From Chairs to New Adventures: Jared Padalecki's Journey Beyond Supernatural

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles experienced emotional challenges when leaving the Supernatural set, especially after spending 15 seasons with the story and the crew. Like many productions, Padalecki appeared to have taken something from the set after each season finale. In a conversation, Jared Padalecki disclosed the item he consistently claimed during the season finales of Supernatural.

Although it is generally against the rules for actors to take items from film sets, it is not uncommon for them to find ways around this guideline. Jared Padalecki casually took his chair from the Supernatural set each year. This tradition required him to receive a new chair at the beginning of each new filming season. He expressed that the chair from his final season would hold special significance to him. In response, his co-star Jensen Ackles humorously noted that this meant the production had to purchase him a new one annually.

Padalecki now holds cherished memories tied to the 15 chairs he collected from the Supernatural set, one representing each season of his journey on the show. Additionally, he will have another opportunity to collaborate with his colleagues on a different venture, particularly with Jensen Ackles and their on-screen father, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Looking ahead, Jared Padalecki is preparing to reconnect with Eric Kripke, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Jensen Ackles once more.

After concluding Supernatural, Kripke found success in the streaming landscape with The Boys, even casting former Supernatural actors in the series. While Ackles is set to portray Soldier Boy and Dean Morgan will embody Kessler, Padalecki's upcoming character remains a mystery. There is a chance he could share scenes with Soldier Boy, but it's unlikely his role will interact with Morgan’s character, as he currently exists as a representation of Butcher’s negative aspects during his pursuit of Supers.
