BioWare Celebrates Dragon Age Day with Character Creator Launch and Game Update
- 31
BioWare is commemorating Dragon Age Day by launching a standalone version of the character creator for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This release coincides with the most recent update for the game. In honor of this special day, players can now access a free version of The Veilguard's advanced character creator as a distinct application on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and personal computers.
For those who are new to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, there is now the ability to design a Rook character before deciding to purchase the full game. The created character can be transferred across platforms, provided it is the same one. In addition to the character creator launch, The Veilguard has received its latest software update and complimentary items to celebrate Dragon Age Day. With Patch 4, gamers can start their experience and acquire iconic items such as armor, body paint, and the notable nose blood smear associated with Hawke, the hero of Dragon Age 2. These cosmetic items will be permanently present in the in-game wardrobe and can be located in the courtyard of the Lighthouse.
Regarding the details of Patch 4, BioWare has incorporated two new complexions for the Qunari during character creation and has rolled out various enhancements aimed at improving the overall gaming experience. Additionally, a new feature enables players on PC to capture screenshots during conversations and cinematic scenes from the pause menu. Meanwhile, console users will find a "Hide/Show UI" option available on the pause screen. Comprehensive patch notes for the update include:
